It started in an orchestra
-
20072011 The orchestra
El Sistema, Venezuela
Classical flutist. Orchestras and ensembles of every size, playing rooms that were far too big for me. I learned to tune by ear years before I learned to mix.
-
20122016 Playing for other people
Composer, arranger, session musician
Flute, saxophone, drums, guitar, bass, piano, percussion, vocals. Writing for three and four voice ensembles, and for full orchestral sections.
Buenos Aires
Escuela de Musica Contemporanea, majoring in jazz saxophone. My first electives in audio engineering and production, and the point where the desk started to interest me more than the stage.
Teaching saxophone
Two years explaining sound to other people. Still the fastest way I know to understand it yourself.

20172021 Behind the desk
Mixing, professionally
From 2018, working out of Argentina and Colombia. Sound design and post production for film and television across Latin America and Canada.
Berklee College of Music
Studying mixing and mastering under Rachel Alina and Jonathan Wyner, alongside acoustics and the way a room decides what you hear.
-
20222026 The records
B.A. in Music Production, summa cum laude
Berklee, 2022. Then two years at YogiSound as assistant mixing engineer, and as a founding member of MixHaus, a mix engineering platform with a community of more than fifty.
The ones that landed
A number one album of 2025 at Willamette Week with Karma Rivera. Best New Black Music Artist at Pop-Eye 2024 with Nauci Gold. A number five song of the year at Radio Nova with Sam Morton. Music for Satch Hoyt at Nottingham Contemporary.
Where it stands
133 million streams across credits and more than 160 releases. Work that has run through Disney, BBC Radio, the Grammys and Pitchfork, and an Apple Music editorial playlist built from my mixes.
